Vanesa Cillo is a global Tech Executive with over 20 years of experience leading large-scale technology organizations across startups, scale-ups, and global enterprises. She operates at the intersection of AI transformation, cybersecurity, and governance — where strategy meets execution.

She served as Senior Director of Engineering at Salesforce / MuleSoft, where she led global engineering organizations of over 200 engineers. She founded and successfully exited her own technology company, and has held senior leadership roles at Geopark and other international organizations.

Today she is CTO at Shifta and an independent Board Advisor and member — bringing strategic technology perspective to boards and executive teams navigating complex AI transformations, cybersecurity risks, and digital governance challenges.

She is a board member of Chicas en Tecnología, the leading regional initiative to close the gender gap in technology entrepreneurship across Latin America.
